Robina Town Centre's $400 million expansion is nearly complete.  In June 2009 the Northern Malls project was opened which included  a new 10,000m2 Big W, a second Woolworths supermarket, Queensland's first Apple store, up to 100 new specialty retailers, a 900 seat food court and a lakeside dining precinct, The Promenade at Robina Town Centre.  The next phase of the Centre’s landmark $400 million expansion is currently underway, which will introduce a 12,000sqm Myer department store and additional specialty retail tenancies. Scheduled to open by late 2010.

Robina Town Centre
Robina Town Centre's $400 million expansion in nearly complete. In June 2009 the Northern Malls project was opened which features a new 10,000m2 Big W, a second 4,500m2 Woolworths supermarket, up to 100 new specialty retailers, a 900 seat food court and a lakeside dining precinct, The Promenade at Robina Town Centre. It is home to Queensland's first Apple store and the largest Country Road store plus the Gold Coast's only David Jones Department Store and some of Australia's most iconic fashion brands including Saba, Carla Zampatti, Mimco and David Lawrence. The next phase of the Centre's landmark $400 million expansion is currently underway, which will introduce a 12,000m2 Myer department store and additional specialty retail tenancies, scheduled to open by late 2010.

Watergardens Town Centre
Following the recent $150 million extension that included Big W, a second Safeway supermarket and 100 new specialty retailers, construction is now complete on a new entertainment and leisure precinct, Station Street that leads from the Town Centre to the Watergardens Railway station. Eight new restaurants including Hog's Breath Cafe, Max Brenner Chocolate Bar and Grill'd provide the first street of restaurants to the region.
