141 Queen Street, Brisbane

Overview

The 24 level 141 Queen Street is part of a new office and retail complex located in the retail heart of the Queen Street Mall, located between Brisbane’s financial, government and law precincts. Its position on the intersection of the Queen Street Mall with Albert Street is arguably one of the best retail locations in Queensland. The building was built in 1969 and was acquired by QIC Real Estate in 1994.

QIC also owns an adjoining property with frontages to Albert Street Mall & Elizabeth Street.  The amalgamated site for 8,000sqm of new retail, 10,000sqm of new commercial office tower and basement carparking for 207 cars is nearing completion. The combined total lettable area of the amalgamated asset on completion will be approximately 32,000 m2.

The new retail has frontages to the Queen and Albert Street Malls and Elizabeth Street and both the existing tower and new tower sit above the retail with their own street addresses and commercial entries.

The Australian Taxation Office has precommitted to leasing the new 10,000sqm commercial component.
